CV. Permata Satria is one of pioneers involving in the coconut sugar production in the granule form as we know today. Back in the days, the Coconut Sugar production was not widely accepted in the international market due to the limited production, unclean processing and unstable supply.
Many people are now choosing coconut sugars as an alternative to white sugar. Coconut sugar is a natural derived from unopened coconut flower bud of the coconut tree (Cocos Nufisera). It is not highly processed, with no additives, bleaching agent, or any chemical needed to make it. In fact, the only processing that takes place is heating the coconut sap to evaporate its water content. It is consider healthier and more nutritious than other natural or artificial sugar substitutes due to its low Glycaemic Index (GI), vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
In 2012, the demand for this ingredients to be organically certified is rising.
CV. Permata Satria is now becoming a producer and processor of Organic Coconut Sugar working in different coconut farming areas in Banyumas region, Jawa Tengah. Being one of the pioneers and locally owned company, it has gained a trust and build a good reputation among local farming communities.
Beside serving local market, the company has now exported to USA, EU and other countries in ASIA.
